NZD/USD drops to 0.8450, 8-week low
FXStreet (Córdoba)- The NZD/USD dropped to 0.8450, hitting the lowest price since early June. Price remains near the lows, consolidating around 0.8465 ahead of the release of the employment report in New Zealand.
“The labour market is expected to remain a bright
spot for the NZD. Sentiment measures and our internal anecdotes point to still-robust demand for labour”, the ANZ Research Team said. The numbers will be published at 22:45 GMT and are likely to affect the Kiwi.
NZD/USD unable to hold above 0.8500
The pair was testing weekly highs around 0.8530 during the Asian session but failed to hold turned to the downside and accelerated below 0.8500 on American hours as Greenback climbed across the board.
